What to Pack: a trip to Macerata, Marche

Want to get to know our city? Even though we are from all over Italy, we all have one place in common: Macerata! Here's a list for your luggage, if you happen to come this way...

If you come to Macerata, you should pack:

1-a passion for opera: Macerata is famous for its Opera House where every summer there is an opera season where you can see some important opera performances.

2- a volleyball: even though Macerata is a small town, it is famous for its volleyball team. Macerata has a good indoor stadium.

3-your English skills!: Every Thursday you can go to the Antichi Forni--the town's wine bar--where you can speak English with people from all over--England, America, Ireland, Australia and, of course, Italy.

4-a love of culture: Macerata is a university city, so in the town centre, there are many people studying in various humanities departments.

5-a watch: Macerata is also famous for its clock tower, so you can always know the time and sincronize your watch to it!
